Play Multiplayer Games

One of the things that you can consider doing is playing multiplayer games. This sounds obvious, right? Well, that’s because it is! But, seeing as it’s the most logical solution, we had to put it on this list. Usually you can only play two players at any given time on the same console, so keep that in mind and then rotate who’s turn it is depending on who has already played. With certain games you can even create a little tournament and see who can win the most games overall. It can be a lot of fun, and is a great way to bring a little excitement while also fostering a bit of healthy competition.

Different Consoles

If you want to play with more of you and the game allows you to do this, then you can always play on separate consoles. For example, in shooting games you may be able to join a party up to a certain size and then you can all play together on the same team. It’s a good way to do it if you all have your own consoles and headsets as then you’re not splitting the screen and getting confused. 

Just make sure that you are all chatting and engaging, otherwise it’s less of a family activity and more just playing together without communicating.

Let Everyone Take A Turn

The last thing that we’re going to say is that you could just let everyone take a turn. For example, if you all like to play political games online for example, then you might want to just sit while one person plays and give input into the same country rather than each playing. Or, if there is a game that is only one player, you can take turns with who is playing at any given time and everyone else can give their ideas. For some people this can be really frustrating, but for others it can be super fun, so it just depends which category you fall in.
