4 Simple Habits That’ll Improve Your Life

by | Aug 30, 2020 | Winner Mindset

In these crazy times, life can feel tough. Work can be complicated and stagnant. Your personal life may not be where you want it to be, and your health could be giving you uncertainty, whether that be physical health (like in my case) or mental health. If you feel like you’re not achieving your goals then it can lead to unhappiness. That’s why it’s so important to know that you’re not alone in this (I’m virtually here with you!), and to note that there are things that you can do to feel happier and more positive. Here are 4 uplifting habits that you can do to improve your life, mood and inspire you to get to where you wanna be.

1) Don’t sacrifice what you want now for what you want most!

We all need to have a little perspective if we want to make great changes in our lives. Of course, it would be nice to chill more and do what we want when we want it, rather than working. And instant gratification is something that’s so satisfying and tempting. But if we give into it too much, then it can hinder our long-term goals as explained in this article: possibilitychange.com/short-term-and-long-term-happiness/. Think about it. What will bring you more lasting happiness, rather than just happiness right now? List them down and invest on what will yield long term joy even if it means sacrificing the instant gratification for now.

2) Stop coming up with excuses!

If you wanna stop doing something or want to justify not doing something, then there will always be a plethora of excuses to choose from. But taking control and ownership of your life and what you do is important; time to ditch those excuses, baby! When you stop making excuses, and you start to take some ownership of your life, then you will be more motivated to push yourself to meet your goals and get the work done that will help you to get there. When you make excuses, you do actually stop yourself from getting to where you want to be. And besides, excuses never ends! As the saying goes, “If there’s a will, you’ll find ways. If there’s none, you’ll have excuses.” And I concur!

3) Move that body!

If you wanna help yourself to feel better in an instant, then exercise is one of the things that you can do for free, and it will actually make a difference. Endorphins make you feel happy; they help to release stress and clear your mind. If you’re looking for some perspective, for example, then exercise first, before you revisit whatever it is you are looking at. You can have a clearer mind when you exercise, have less anxiety, feel less stressed, and it can even help with your reasoning and decision making. Make sure that you are kitted out in the right way before working out, though, using a site like curvesncombatboots.com, for example, as it can make the exercise go much more smoothly when you’ve got the right gear.

4) Cultivate a WINNER mindset.

One thing that can also help is learning to be more confident in yourself. When you are more confident, it can make a big difference to how you see things, and yourself. See every mistake, failure or disappointment as a learning curve and rise from it. Never be too hard on yourself because you’re doing the best you can. Sometimes, life just gets out of control and it’s not your fault. But that doesn’t mean the circumstances or how you handle things won’t get better. Always, always see the glass half full meaning, look at how every situation can make you a better person and what you can learn from it. Because life will never be perfect and things can be so unpredictable. But what we can control is how we think, react and manage our feelings. So let’s stay on track, WINNERS! With each step, no matter how little, we are getting better, wiser, healthier and happier. 🙂
